Our regulatory assistance to comply with European Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 for cosmetics.

Any operator wishing to place a cosmetic product on the European market must comply with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.

Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 aims to :

  • Ensure consumer safety
  • Harmonise the rules of the European internal market
  • Regulate the composition, labelling, traceability and control of cosmetic products.

It applies directly in all Member States without requiring national transposition (unlike directives). From checking labelling and validating claims to compiling technical files, each step is essential to ensure consumer safety and regulatory compliance.

Our mission is to offer you constant support, being at your disposal to answer every question or need at every stage of your process. With our in-depth regulatory expertise and continuous monitoring of legislative developments, we assist you in securing your launches and ensuring the sustainability of your business by guaranteeing full compliance.

Documentation of the safety of food supplements

Food supplements are at the crossroads between food and medicine.

Their regulatory framework is based on a dual scale : European and national. Directive 2002/46/EC, transposed into the national legislation of EU Member States, establishes the fundamental rules applicable to food supplements. In France, it is governed by the Consumer Code and the Public Health Code. The French control and assessment authorities are the DGAL (control) and ANSES (risk assessment).

We assist you in defining maximum daily doses and justifying their use in sensitive populations (infants, children, pregnant women, etc.), as well as in preparing your safety dossier in accordance with Annex III of the Decree of 24 June 2014 for plant preparations used in food supplements.

The aim is to guarantee consumer safety while complying with the law.
